![]() ![]() exit steam, right click the steam shortcut and just click the run as admin link, once steam fully opens, go back to your desktop, double click the COD shortcut to launch, when the dialog box pops up asking for permission to run the game, click yes, and that should run the game. ![]() do this for both the single player and multiplayer shortcuts. ![]() Right click the shortcut to the exe on your desktop, click properties, go to the compatibility tab, and check the box that says run as administrator, then apply, then ok. Go into the steam client, right click on the game in your library, click properties, click local files, browse local files, and go into the redist folder and make sure to run the installers for the direct x update and the c+ update, and go to the nvidia or amd websites to download the game ready driver update for the game.
